Ryan Payne is a Montreal-based music composer working across documentary, film, and experimental music. He is currently finalizing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Electroacoustic Studies at Concordia University, where he was awarded the Kevin Austin Award (2025).

His work explores the relationship between music, image, and atmosphere. His portfolio includes original music composition for documentary projects broadcast on CBC and TVA Sports, as well as music and sound work for short films and independent visual projects.
