Ryan Payne is a sound designer and music composer working in documentary, film, and media. He is completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electroacoustic Studies at Concordia University, where he received the Kevin Austin Award (2025).

His practice explores the relationship between sound, music, and image. His portfolio includes original music and sound design for documentary projects broadcast on CBC and TVA Sports, as well as short films and visual media works.
